Community Relations and Partnerships
The College’s growth and achievements are due, in part, to its numerous partners and supporters. Students participate in Christian and community services through the Columbia Urban League, Hyatt Park Elementary School, Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, Sister Care, Inc., WLB Family Life Center, Refuge Temple Youth Department & Sunday School, and other agencies. The College partners with church congregations and community organizations to host its Focus on the Family Conference and other events designed to strengthen families, congregations, and communities. The event brings together the Village leaders (pastors and spouses, parents, principals, teachers, school counselors, doctors, nurses, attorneys, police officers, social workers, counselors, family therapists, and all those who make up the village leadership team), along with the many families throughout neighborhoods, congregations, and communities.
